Lady Jackets fall to Miami in NIT

ATLANTA - Chanivia Broussard scored 20 points and sparked a 17-2 run to open the second half as Miami rallied to beat Georgia Tech 73-64 tonight in an opening round game of the Women&#39;s NIT. <br> <br> The Yellow Jackets (15-14) led 45-36 at halftime, but Broussard led a comeback with two baskets, a steal and an assist as the Hurricanes (19-11) closed the gap to 47-42 with 17:13 to play. <br> <br> A steal and a layup by Sheila James and two layups by Meghan Saake gave Miami a 48-47 lead, and Tech never caught up. The Yellow Jackets had six turnovers in the first five minutes of the second half leading to eight points. <br> <br> Sonja Mallory led Tech with 16 points.
