WASHINGTON - Oklahoma, remembering a first-round upset loss in the NCAA tournament a year ago, fought past Illinois-Chicago 71-63 Friday in the opening round of the West Regional. <br> <br> Aaron McGhee dumped in 26 points and pulled down a dozen rebounds for the second-seeded Sooners, who also got 17 points from Hollis Price. <br> <br> Oklahoma broke open the game with an 18-3 run on the way to an early 28-13 advantage, and Illinois-Chicago never drew closer than six the rest of the way. <br> <br> UIC heads home with a 20-14 record. <br> <br> The 28-5 Sooners will face either Xavier or Hawaii in the second round.
