Marlin wins at Darlington

DARLINGTON, S.C.- Sterling Marlin Sunday won the Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 in Darlington. Marlin took the lead after an eleven-car accident that sent Tony Stewart to the hospital. <br>

It's the second win for Marlin this season and tenth of his career. <br>
<br>
Marlin is the series points leader. He qualified eleventh for the race but was forced to start in the 43rd spot at Darlington Raceway after his Racing team changed the engine in his Dodge Intrepid. <br>
<br>
Elliott Sadler finished second followed by Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Junior. <br>
<br>
Dawsonville's Bill Elliot finished 10th Sunday.<br>

After the accident, Stewart was removed from the car and was awake and talking when he was taken to the infield care center. He was then airlifted to a Florence hospital after complaining of lower back pain and numbness and tingling in his left foot. <br>
