Counties to vote on extra tax for education

Residents will vote on special taxes today in seven locations in metro Atlanta. <br> <br> Voters in Fulton, DeKalb, Henry and Coweta county will decide whether to continue a seven percent sales tax for another five years to pay for school construction, renovations and equipment. <br> <br> Marietta is holding a bond referendum vote to pay for construction of a new school. <br> <br> Douglas County voters will cast ballots on a $102 million bond referendum with about half the money earmarked for parks and green space. <br> <br> In north Fulton County, voters in the city of Mountain Park will elect two council members. <br> <br> In south Georgia, voters in Lowndes County are being asked to extend a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for education.
