STARKVILLE, MISSISSIPPI - J.D. Huether had three hits and three RBIs and Mark Stander didn't allow an earned run in six innings as New Orleans defeated Mississippi State 7-3 Tuesday night. <br>

The Privateers (15-9) broke a 2-2 tie in the seventh with four runs rally against relievers Jeff Lacher (0-2) and Brian Owens. Huether and Gabe Trevizo had back-to-back doubles to spark the rally. <br>

Starter Jacob Blakeney worked 5 1-3 innings for Mississippi State (12-8-1), giving up five hits and two runs. <br>
<br>
Lacher allowed three hits and four runs in 2-3 on an inning. <br>
<br>
Brent Lewis was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Bulldogs. <br>
<br>
Standers (2-2) allowed three hits and five walks with five strikeouts. <br>
<br>
Trevizo was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored for New Orleans.
