The West Hall boys' tennis team continued its strong play Wednesday.<br>

In a region match, West Hall's boys defeated Newton Coounty by a score of 5-0. <br>

#1 singles Joseph Pate defeated Blake Mooney 6-1, 6-4 <br>
#2 Drew Wilkerson def. Chad Jessup6-1,, 6-2 <br>
#3 Matt Whiting def. Danny Dluglenski 6-2, 6-2 <br>

West Hall goes to 9-1 on the season and 4-0 in region play. They'll play Grayson at home on Thursday in a region match. Grayson has lost only one match this season. <br>

The Lady Spartans (6-3, 3-1 8-AAAA), made it a sweep in Covington with a 4-1 win.<br>
<br>
Jaime Martin and Marlene Morris won in singles. The doubles teams of Kalen Fletcher/Marie Morris and Britney Whitaker, Sarah Burtch also were victorious.<br>

The Johnson girls finally lost a tennis match, falling hard 4-1 at South Forysth. <br>
<br>
South's Kari Fuller and Margaret Millar won in singles, while the teams of Jenna Word/Carolina Sprinkle and Brittany Summer/Alie Patturon took doubles wins for the War Eagles.<br>
<br>
Jamie Green took the win at number one singles for Johnson (5-1, 1-1 7-AAA). <br>
<br>
South made it a sweep with a win over the Johnson boys.<br>
<br>
The Gainesville tennis boys continued to cruise, zapping Riverside 5-0 in a Hall County Tournament make-up. The 7-0 Elephants have reportedly won 35 matches in a row.<br>
<br>
The Lakeview tennis teams swept East Hall. The Lady Lions did not lose a set in a 5-0 win. Cassie Martin, Sarina Bhole' and Katie Clark won in singles for Lakeview, while the dubs teams of Elizabeth Hamilton/Amy Kearns, as well as Deirdre Lohn/Taylor picked up victories.<br>

The Lakeview boys made it a double shut-out with their 5-zip win over the Vikings at City Park.<br>
<br>
Singles wins went to Lakeview's John Woodums, Tony Abdulkarim, and David Ellis; while the Lions wins in doubles went to the teams of James Francis/ Holden Sawyer and Justin Marshall/Kevin Brooks.<br>
<br>
Also in tennis Thursday, North Hall hosts Newton County; and East Hall is scheduled to host Banks County.<br>
