Families sue company which modified National Guard plane

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - An aircraft company is being sued over a plane that crashed, killing 21 National Guard members from Florida and Virginia. <br>

The C-23 Sherpa crashed nearly a year ago near Macon, Georgia. <br>
<br>
Attorneys for families of two victims say that after modifications the plane was unstable and never properly tested by Bombardier Aerospace. <br>
<br>
Jacksonville, Florida, attorney Robert Spohrer says modifications by Bombardier at its West Virginia Air Center changed the aircraft's stability and control. <br>
<br>
Bombardier Aerospace headquarters in Canada did not return a call. <br>
<br>
The lawsuit was filed by survivors of two of the Virginia National Guardsmen.
