The fire was discovered last night when the pastor at Greater Saint Peter's First United Assembly of God Holiness Church went to the church. The church is on U-S Highway 301 north of Folkston.
The fire had burned itself out and caused 300 to 400 dollars worth of damage.
Glenn Allen is a spokesman for Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine. He says investigators found accelerant traces in the pastor's study.
