The Augusta Chronicle promotes Adams to managing editor

AUGUSTA - Elizabeth Kemple Adams, who has been the features editor at The Augusta Chronicle for six years, has been named the paper's managing editor. <br>

The newspaper said Wednesday Adams will replace Will Kennedy, who went to The Topeka Capital Journal as executive editor. <br>
<br>
The executive editor at The Chronicle, Dennis Sodomka, said Adams is a creative, enthusiastic leader who inspires others to greatness, <br>
<br>
Adams has worked as a writer and editor for the newspaper since graduating from Augusta College in 1987, except for 14 months in 1992-93 when she was a publications specialist at University Hospital.
