Two companies consolidating call centers in metro Atlanta

ATLANTA - Two companies are consolidating their national call center operations in metro Atlanta, creating 390 jobs by next January. <br> <br> Suntory Water Group, the nation&#39;s second-largest seller of home and office bottled water, is consolidating its seven customer centers into one, leading to 140 new jobs and a $3 million investment in Flowery Branch. <br> <br> IKON, a retailer of office products and equipment, is bringing its call centers in other states to an existing location in Duluth. The operations there already employ 350, and IKON will add 250 positions over the next year. <br> <br> On Tuesday, BellSouth announced it was consolidating its call centers across the Southeast into three Georgia locations. But 86 call center jobs in metro Atlanta will be eliminated.
