Alcohol, tobacco addiction expert dies at 52

ATLANAT - A Georgia expert in the treatment of alcohol, tobacco and drug addictions has died. <br> <br> Doctor John Slade died late last month at a family home on Lake Burton. That&#39;s in Rabun County. His death has been ruled a suicide. <br> <br> Slade co-edited the first comprehensive clinical textbook on nicotine addiction. He was a harsh critic of the tobacco industry -- with a license plate that said, ``No Cigs.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> A memorial service is scheduled for this afternoon in Princeton, New Jersey. <br> <br> Doctor John Slade was 52 years old.
