It was another busy Saturday for alumni of Hall County basketball programs.

North Hall grad Courtney Hester had 25 points in the North Georgia College and State University women's baskteball team's 101-73 win over Midway College of Kentucky in Dahlonega. The loss drops the Lady Braves to 15-7 overall, 7-5 in the Gulf South Conference.

East Hall's Chezley Watson scored eight points and had three assists as his West Georgia men's team (15-7,7-4 GSC) also loss to 'Bama- Huntsville 68-65.

Both West Georgia teams are slated to host North Alabama Monday, beginning with the women's game at 5:30 PM.

East Hall grad Mark Causey did see a little action in the Duke men's 95-63 rout of Georgia Tech. Causey, a freshman walk-on for the Blue Devils, missed the lone shot he took for number one rated Duke (22-1, 10-1 ACC).
