Savannah native to pick best in show at Westminster

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA - A judge from Virginia will choose the top dog at this year's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. <br>

Everett Dean, a native of Savannah, Georgia is the best-in-show judge at the 126th annual Westminster show. <br>
<br>
The show ends Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. <br>
<br>
Dean has judged breeds in four previous Westminster shows, including last year when he judged eight toy breeds. <br>
<br>
He has judged hundreds of dog shows throughout the United States since 1975. <br>
<br>
The 70-year-old said, "This is quite an honor for me. It's the ultimate assignment for a dog-show judge.'' <br>
<br>
Dean will pick a best-in-show winner from seven groups. Last year's winner was a bichon frise.
