MACON - A Macon company that installs liners in the bed of pickup trucks has been leveled by fire.
Firefighters were called to Rhino Lining of Middle Georgia about 3 p-m yesterday. Macon-Bibb County Fire Captain Ricky Collins says the fire was in full force when crews arrived.
He says propane tanks and paint helped to fuel the blaze. Two employees who were in the building when the fire started escaped unharmed.
Investigators still are trying to determine the cause of the blaze. Fire investigator Stephen Hutto says he was told a heater in a paint room caught a piece of plastic on fire.
A new Dodge pickup truck in the building was destroyed. The building's roof collapsed and three of the walls fell before the fire was put out.
