Man held overnight after stepping over line at Hartsfield

ATLANTA - A 37-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, has been released from jail after being held overnight for stepping over a line at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. <br> <br> Authorities say Michael Rousseau stepped over the red painted ``Do Not Enter&#39;&#39; stripe where two National Guardsmen stood watch at the escalators about 7 p.m. Monday. They say he had asked the two Guardsmen what would happen if he stepped over the line. <br> <br> The Guard members grabbed him when he stepped over. He spent the night in the Clayton County Jail on a criminal trespass charge. <br> <br> Officials say that charge was dropped Tuesdday and Rousseau was released. <br> <br> Airport spokeswoman Yolanda Clark says the airport believes the National Guard acted properly. <br> <br> On November 16th, Shane Lasseter of Hall County ran down an up escalator. His action caused officials to shut down the airport for three hours, sending thousands of commuters out of the terminal. <br> <br> Lasseter has asked for a jury trial February 25th on trespassing and reckless conduct charges.
