WARNER ROBINS - A Florida murder suspect featured on the ``America's Most Wanted'' television show was captured at a Warner Robins grocery store as he was attempting to wire money, authorities said.
Federal and local officials arrested Guierrin Saintio, 27, shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Saintio is expected to be held in the Houston County jail until he is returned to Miami, where he is wanted for two slayings and escape from jail.
Marshals believe Saintio came to Warner Robins after Saturday's broadcast to hide out and stay with friends.
``The show received tips that put Saintio in the Middle Georgia area,'' deputy U.S. marshal Will Hawkins said Thursday. ``That is when our office got involved in the case.''
Saintio is charged in the April 28 shooting death of Jason Bayard in Miami. Reports say both men belonged to a Miami drug gang, the Zombies, and got into an argument over a car.
Captured afer a police chase through Dade and Broward counties on Oct. 18, Saintio allegedly persuaded another inmate to trade shirts and jail paperwork and was released the next day.
Police believe Saintio ambushed and shot two men outside a Miami convenience store Nov. 23. One of them, Oldo Dulcio, 26, died.
Saintio is also wanted for questioning in Montgomery, Ala., in the Oct. 3 shooting death of Quinton McKeithen, 30, outside a fast-food restaurant. Montgomery police Sgt. Huey Thornton said Thursday that Saintio has not been charged in the case.
