Investigation continues into deadly Dekalb fire

DECATUR - DeKalb County authorities are trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Decatur in which a 23-year-old woman died. <br> <br> Her parents escaped from the house. <br> <br> Firefighters answered a call to the house about 9:45 p.m. <br> <br> Fire Lieutenant Eric Jackson says one person had escaped from the blaze and the second person was assisted out by firefighters. <br> <br> The body of the woman who died was found near a window. Authorities say she was in a wheelchair and apparently had tried to get out of the house. <br> <br> Jackson says neighbors were trying to fight the fire with a water hose. <br> <br> The father was mentioned for smoke inhalation. <br> <br> Authorities have not released the names of the three.
