ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines says it has not closed its special express security lines for frequent fliers and first- or business-class passengers.

The newly formed Transportation Security Administration reportedly ended the practice when it took over security Sunday.

But a Delta spokeswoman said Thursday the TSA has not told it to close its express lines in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Salt Lake City, JFK and LaGuardia in New York and Newark, New Jersey.

She said the TSA did tell Delta to close its express line in Cincinnati, but told the airline Thursrday that it could re-open the line.

A spokesman for the TSA did not immediately return a call seeking comment Thursday.
