Prep soccer continues play

Some of the northeast Georgia high school soccer teams got back in action Monday evening.<br> <br> Among the matches scheduled, the Gainesville boys walloped Union County 10-nil. Baker Davenport had a hat trick for the Crimson Herd and Mark Steven scored twice for the Elephants (3-1). Goalies Geoffrey del Forn and Carlos Duran each played a half in the shut-out.<br> <br> The North Hall girls got by North Forysth 3-0 Monday as junior Ellen Shuler scored all the goals with her third hat trick of the season.<br> <br> Goalie Tricia Thibodeau earned the shut-out.<br> <br> Buford&#39;s co-ed team lost to Greater Atlanta Christian 4-2.<br> <br> The Johnson girls and Eastside battled to a 2-all tie.<br> <br> Tuesday for the girls, Lakeview hosts Banks COunty and West Hall hosts Forsyth Central.<br> <br> West Hall hosts Forsyth Central in boys&#39; action as well Tuesday, along with Johnson at GAC; Riverside hosting Banks County; and South Forsyth at North Hall.
