NOBLE - Authorities say they found no new corpses Wednesday at the Tri-State Crematory in Walker County.
It's the first time since the investigation began that no new bodies have been found in a day. The number of corpses recovered stays at 339 -- with just 74 identified.
Wednesday, officials also released a plan for draining a lake on the crematory grounds. They say they'll use eight-inch siphons to pump water out of the lake and downstream. They also say environmental tests show no potential danger.
The draining is expected to be finished by March 5.
Crematory owner Ray Brent Marsh remains in jail on 118 theft by deception charges. He is still waiting for word on a new bail hearing.
