Mercer routs Reinhardt

ATLANTA - Scott Emerson scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Mercer to a 85-62 victory of Reinhardt on Monday. <br> <br> Emerson recorded his 23rd career double-double and was 12-of-14 from the field for Mercer (2-2). <br> <br> Wesley Duke and Donny McLendon backed Emerson up with 12 points each off the bench. <br> <br> Reinhardt (3-6) sank fewer than one-third of its shots, making only 23-of-71 from the field. <br> <br> Reinhardt came within six points at the half, 37-31, but trailed by double figures midway through the second half when Mercer pulled away. <br> <br> Reggie Taylor scored 18, Gathan White had 14 and Sam Allen 11 for Reinhardt. <br> <br> Mercer outrebounded the Eagles 51-35 and had 25 assists to Reinhardt&#39;s 12.
