Man charged in weekend slaying

NEWNAN -- Newnan police Monday charged a man in Sunday night&#39;s slaying of another Newnan man. <br> <br> Police say 35-year-old Warner Lee Arnold shot and killed Kerry Arnold, a 32-year-old man apparently not related to him. They say the assailant also kidnapped 36-year-old Karen Moss from a home in Newnan about 9 p.m. <br> <br> Investigators say the 10-year-old daughter of Moss and Kerry Arnold locked herself in a bathroom and called police to say her parents were being robbed. The girl said she knew the assailant as ``Lee.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> Kerry Arnold was transported to Newnan Hospital and pronounced dead Sunday night. Police say Warner Lee Arnold fled the home with Moss in her car. <br> <br> Later, police found the car about 5 miles north of Newnan with Moss inside, suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder. <br> <br> Moss was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, but officials have not released any information on her condition. <br> <br> Police say Warner Lee Arnold fled on foot. They are still looking for him. He faces charges of murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault.
