Mercer whips Morris Brown

ATLANTA - Scott Emerson scored 26 points and had seven rebounds, and Aleem Muhammad scored 25 Tuesday night as Mercer defeated Morris Brown 89-67. <br> <br> Emerson shot 10-for-11 from the field, including 2-for-2 from 3-point range, and hit 4-of-4 from the foul line. Muhammad shot 9-13, with 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. <br> <br> Clarence Baker added 14 points for the Bears (4-2), who led 44-25 at halftime and outrebounded the Wolverines 35-to-23. <br> <br> Anthony Adams led Morris Brown (1-7) with 27 points, including 7-for-7 free throws.
