Home Depot taps new controller

ATLANTA - Kelly Barrett, the chief financial officer of Cousins Properties Incorporated, will leave at the end of the month to become controller at The Home Depot. <br> <br> Barrett has served as CFO at Cousins since early 2001. Tom Charlesworth, Cousins&#39; executive vice president, will serve as acting CFO while her replacement is sought. <br> <br> Atlanta-based Cousins Properties has extensive experience in the real estate industry, including the development, acquisition, financing, management and leasing of properties. <br> <br> The Home Depot, also based in Atlanta, is the country&#39;s largest home improvement store chain.
