Police: Georgia pair had 178 pounds of marijuana their car

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - A man and woman from Georgia remained in jail Wednesday on drug possession charges, two days after police said 178 pounds of marijuana was found in their car. <br>

Vials containing hundreds of anabolic steroid pills also was in the car, authorities said. <br>
<br>
Matthew Samnik of Atlanta and Marial Medina of Lawrenceville were charged with possession of marijuana, and Samnik was charged with possession of pills without a prescription. Bond was set at $360,000 for Samnik, $350,000 for Medina. <br>
<br>
Police believe the pair picked up the drugs in Arizona and were headed back to Georgia when they were pulled over after the sport utility vehicle they were in was weaving on Interstate 40.
