UPS to use tractors with cleaner fuel

ATLANTA - United Parcel Service Incorporated will begin shipping packages sent long distances with tractors using cleaner-burning fuel to cut down on harmful emissions. <br>

The ten liquefied natural gas trailers will carry 31,000 packages a day along a 545-mile route between Ontario, California, and Las Vegas. They'll haul large trucks that need to go long distances and trailers filled by large volume customers. <br>
<br>
Atlanta-based UPS says it now uses alternative fuel vehicles in every part of its fleet.
