Kirk admitted taking part in a payoff scheme to send defensive lineman Albert Means to Alabama two years ago. He spoke publicly about the recruitment to The Commercial Appeal newspaper last year. <br>

The high school's head coach had pleaded guilty to accepting money from an Alabama booster to turn Means toward 'Bama. He'll be sentenced in May.
