Wilkinson boy dies in ATV accident

IRWINTON - A 5-year-old boy from middle Georgia was killed Friday when he was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle. <br> <br> Police say Jacob Payne of Wilkinson County was riding a Kawasaki Mile, a work vehicle larger than most four-wheelers. The boy&#39;s older cousin was driving, and they hit a bump that threw the child out. The driver was also a juvenile, but police say no charges will be filed in the accident. <br> <br> The accident happened about noon Friday. <br> <br> The boy was pronounced dead at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.
