IRVING, TEXAS - Bill Parcells reportedly is set to become the Dallas Cowboys' new head coach. The Dallas Morning News is reporting on its website that Parcells has agreed to a four-year, $18 million deal to become the Cowboys' sixth head coach.
The story is based on unnamed sources close to Parcells and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Jones announced the firing of Dave Campo Monday, saying he had no timetable for naming a new coach. A team spokesman wouldn't comment on the newspaper report.
But the paper says Jones and Parcells actually agreed to the deal when they met Friday, two days before the Cowboys' 30-to-14 loss to Washington.
Dallas went 5-and-11 in each of its three seasons under Campo.
