NASHVILLE - Asad Abdul-Khaliq threw for a touchdown and Thomas Tapeh ran for another as Minnesota took the Music City Bowl 29-to-14 over 25th-ranked Arkansas at Nashville Monday. <br>

The Golden Gophers had a few drives stall near the goal line, allowing Dan Nystrom to become the fifth kicker to hit five field goals in a bowl game. Nystrom had a 45-yard kick and four other field goals between 21 and 29 yards. <br>

Abdul-Khaliq was 17 of 22 for 222 yards, including a 19-yard scoring strike that put the Golden Gophers ahead 19-to-7 in the third quarter. Tapeh made it 29-to-7 with a 33-yard T-D run in the final period. <br>

Tapeh ran for 100 yards to help the Gophers finish up 8-and-5. <br>
<br>
Matt Jones threw for just 118 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the 9-and-5 Razorbacks.
