James Ray Pattillo was released about 9:30 p.m. Thursday from the Roswell Jail on a $40,000 bond. He turned himself in to Alpharetta authorities last month.
Police accuse him of falsifying drug tests for a 15-year-old in exchange for sex with the teen's 13-year-old girlfriend. The 56-year-old Pattillo has been charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
The victim told police she had sex with him on October second in the boyfriend's suburban Atlanta home. In exchange for the sex, Pattillo - a contractor for the state Division of Family and Children Services - allegedly promised to report clean drug tests for her boyfriend and his father.
Police say the boyfriend also paid the girl about 150 dollars.
