SPRINGFIELD - Police have charged a South Carolina man with malice murder in the shooting deaths of a coastal Georgia family. <br>

DeAnthony Germaine Griffin of Hilton Head, South Carolina, was arrested last week on unrelated charges. <br>
<br>
Police in Effingham County yesterday charged him in the deaths of David Brian Cribbs, 48, his daughter, Ashley Brooke Cribbs, 18, and his son, David Brian Cribbs Junior, 28. <br>
<br>
A neighbor found their bodies on October 22 outside the elder Cribbs' home in Effingham County, north of Savannah. <br>
<br>
Effingham County Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie says more charges will be filed against Griffin, who remains in jail in Beaufort County, South Carolina. <br>
<br>
He could be transferred to Georgia within days if he waives extradition. If he doesn't, the extradition process could take a month.
