Man found guilty of creating illegal 4 acre dump

AUSTELL - A 64-year-old man who charged people to dump tons of waste on property he didn't even own was found guilty of violating Georgia's dumping laws Monday. <br>

The state Environmental Protection Division says Ronald E. Crouse Senior faces a maximum sentence of 35 years in prison and $600,000 in fines. <br>
<br>
He remains jailed on a $350,000.<br>
<br>
Prosecutors say Crouse told waste haulers to dump concrete, bricks, construction and demolition debris on the property of Jadow Corporation. <br>
<br>
The waste covered four acres and was 20 to 30 feet deep. <br>
<br>
Cleanup will cost more than one million dollars.
