Georgia man pleads guilty to threatening Vice President Cheney

MACON - A Georgia man has pleaded guilty to phoning a bomb threat against Vice President Cheney at a July speech in Macon. <br> <br> Federal officials say 29-year-old Roland F. Brown will be sentenced within 60 to 90 days for one count of making a threat against the vice president. <br> <br> Brown faces up to five years in prison for the charge. <br> <br> Federal officials say Brown made a telephone call July 19 and said a bomb was in the Macon City Auditorium when Cheney and others were inside. <br> <br> Cheney was visiting a Macon fund-raiser for Congressman Saxby Chambliss, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.
