Falcons defensive end Patrick Kerney has been named NFC defensive player of the week.<br>

Kerney returned a fumble four yards for a touchdown in a 20-17 victory over Baltimore.<br>
<br>
Atlanta placekicker Jay Feely, who was named the NFC's special teams player of the week two weeks ago, was picked as the special teams player of the month for October in the NFC.
