SIAC, CIAA move Pioneer Bowl from Atlanta to Tampa

ATLANTA - The December 15 Pioneer Bowl, matching teams from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will be moved from the Georgia Dome to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. <br> <br> The only bowl game matching teams from historically black colleges never drew well in Atlanta. It was played two years at Herndon Stadium and then moved to the Georgia Dome the last three years.
