AUGUSTA - A 56-year-old preacher arrested for holding a ``Repent or Perish'' sign at a Hispanic Festival in Augusta has pleaded innocent to disorderly conduct charges.
The Reverend Timothy Fellows Senior is scheduled to go to trial in a few weeks.
A deputy told the minister to leave October's First Friday event four times October 12, but he refused, said the minister's son, the Rev. Timothy Fellows Junior.

His son says Fellows was down there telling them the gospel, which is what they needed to hear. He added it really looks bad for them to arrest someone for preaching down there when you've got people drinking, doing prostitution and drugs.
He said the charges violate his father's free speech rights.
The minister was taken to jail and released on a personal recognizance bond after three hours on Thursday.
