Home invasion suspect wounded by police

DECATUR - DeKalb County police say a suspect in a home invasion robbery was wounded during a shootout with police. <br> <br> Officers responded to a home invasion shortly early Sunday at Peachtree Garden Apartments near Oglethorpe University. <br> <br> Police say the officers saw two suspects running to the rear of the apartment. One of the suspects fired one shot at the officer. <br> <br> Police say the officer fired once. <br> <br> Twenty-seven-year-old Ronald Bernard Baccus of Atlanta and 30-year-old Demetrius Anderson of Lake Alford, Florida, are charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault on a police officer. <br> <br> Anderson received a gunshot wound in the buttocks and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. <br> <br> The officer who fired the shot has been placed on administrative leave.
