Freezing temperatures in Georgia

ATLANTA - Temperatures dipped below freezing in many parts of north Georgia Monday morning, but a warming trend is in sight. <br>
<br>
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says temperatures reach the mid- to upper 50s by Monday afternoon. <br>
<br>
Night temperatures also are expected to remain above freezing around the Atlanta area for the rest of the week. <br>
<br>
Sunday night's temperatures are the first dose of freezing temperatures across the Atlanta area this season.
