Georgia Southern wins big in opener

ORONO, MAINE - Julius Jenkins scored 22 points as Georgia Southern beat John Jay 83-60 Saturday night in the season opener for both teams in the Maine Tip-Off Classic. <br> <br> Georgia Southern will play Maine on Sunday for the championship. <br> <br> Joining Jenkins in double figures were Frank Bennett, who had 12 points, and Courtney Joseph, who had 11. Joseph added 10 rebounds. <br> <br> The Bloodhounds were led by Pablo Palma, who had 20 points, and Tim White, who had 17 and seven rebounds.
