Jordan says he'll retire after this season

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Michael Jordan says he&#39;ll retire for the third and final time after this season and resume his role as part owner of the Washington Wizards. <br> <br> The Washington Post and the Carroll County Times say Jordan told reporters after Thursday&#39;s practice there is &#39;&#39;zero chance&#39;&#39; of him coming back again. <br> <br> Jordan, who turns 40 in February, signed a two-year, two-point-one (m) million-dollar contract with Washington last year after stepping down from his executive duties. <br> <br> He returned to the court last season because he said he still felt the need to compete. <br> <br> Jordan played well for most of last season for Washington before he was forced out of the lineup with a knee injury requiring surgery. <br> <br> This season, the five-time N-B-A Most Valuable Player is averaging over 16 and a-half points as a reserve. With the Wizards on a four-game losing streak, Jordan has told coach Doug Collins to play him more. <br> <br> Jordan had retired twice before -- while playing with the Chicago Bulls.
