CUMMING - The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of two Cumming men they are calling suspicious.

The bodies of Mitchell Payne and Shawn Wells, both 21, were discovered yesterday at Payne home at 960 Mary Alice Park Road.

"At this point we are calling the deaths suspicious, we are still a preliminary phase of the investigation." says Captain Ron Freeman.

"There is some indication that it may be drug related. It could be an overdose, it could be something else. It is very preliminary to say that."

There was no sign of foul play. The bodies have been sent to the GBI crime lab for autopsies.

Forsyth County Coroner Lauren McDonald says in all likely hood the autopsy results will rely heavily on the toxicology exam.

McDonald went on to say the possible causes of death are numerous.

The bodies were discovered by friends of the two that stopped by the home around noon Wednesday.
