Construction crews discover a body

AUSTELL - Construction crews in south Cobb County found a body in a coffin Wednesday that may have been buried for half a century. <br> <br> The coffin was unearthed on private land in a subdivision off Veterans Memorial Highway where a house once stood. <br> <br> Police said they do not suspect foul play, since being buried on one&#39;s own land was not uncommon 50 years ago. <br> <br> The body was taken to the medical examiner&#39;s office for identification. The examiner will attempt to contact any local relatives of the deceased.
