GAINESVILLE - Time is running out if you are not registered to vote in the November 5 general election in Georgia.

There were about 64,000 people eligible to vote in Hall County in the primaries in the summer. The county's chief registrar, Anne Phillips, said that number hasn't changed much the past few weeks.

"We've had a number of new registrations, however, it has not been a huge number," Phillips said.

You can register at Phillips' office, public libraries, the driver's license bureau, or by mail if you have an application form. You can get a form from Phillips' office or from the Georgia Secretary of State's Website.

"Voter registration can be mailed in as long as its postmarked by the seventh of October," she said.
