LAGRANGE - Hank Boggess has been building miniature boats for the last 20 years -- plank by plank.
The ships are close to exact replicas in nearly every detail -- from the red carpet that leads to the upstairs of a Mississippi riverboat to the row boats of the 1851 Yacht American.

The 58-year-old subdivision developer's also models include the U.S.S. Monitor and the U.S.S. Constituion.
Conspicuously absent among Boggess's is the Titanic, which he says he simply has no desire to build. Boggess says, ``You turn on the TV and it's everywhere. It only sailed for ten days.''
