Father sues school system after son's injury

FAYETTEVILLE - The father of a Sandy Creek High School student is suing the Fayette County School System, claiming his son was not given proper medical treatment after an altercation last month. <br> <br> David Mays charges in his lawsuit against the school system that his son, Daniel, was given only ice for treatment on September 4th and then suspended for two days after being kicked in the head. <br> <br> The school system has declined to comment on the suit.
