ATLANTA - Industry experts think sales of Vanilla Coke could top 75 million cases this year. With continued good results in 2003, it could even break into the Top 10 in U.S. beverage sales. <br>

Atlanta-based Coca Cola will unveil third-quarter financial results this week. that experts believe will show the crucial North American division is growing, thanks in part to Vanilla Coke. <br>

The latest data show that Vanilla Coke is the eighth-largest-selling soft drink in U.S. convenience stores. <br>

Coke is so bullish on vanilla that it is rolling out Diet Vanilla Coke nationwide tomorrow. The product has trickled into some stores already. <br>

Until this year, recent growth in the U.S. soft drink business has been slight. Many consumers have quit sugary soft drinks for bottled water, juices and other beverages. <br>
<br>
But the tide began to turn last year when Pepsi-Cola launched Mountain Dew Code Red, which was a big success.
