Perry doubtful for action on Thursday vs. Ga. Tech

COLLEGE PARK - Maryland running back Bruce Perry probably won&#39;t return for Thursday night&#39;s nationally televised game against Georgia Tech. <br> <br> Perry has yet to play this season because of a torn groin. Terrapins coach Ralph Friedgen said Tuesday that Perry is doubtful for Thursday, and is unsure of the running back&#39;s status for the rest of the season. <br> <br> Maryland is considering getting a medical redshirt for Perry, but it&#39;s uncertain whether he could receive it if he recovers from his injury before the end of the season. <br> <br> Perry was last year&#39;s Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year. <br> <br> Freshman Josh Allen and senior Chris Downs will likely share the running back duties Thursday against Georgia Tech. Both are averaging more than six yards a carry.
