Mathis named UGA Homecoming Queen

ATHENS - Halftime festivities at the University of Georgia-Vanderbilt football game in Athens Saturday saw the selection of Gainesville's Katie Mathis as UGA's 2002 Homecoming Queen.

Katie is a 1999 graduate of Gainesville High School and is the daughter of Jim and Kathy Mathis. She is a senior at UGA, majoring in marketing.
