Teenager faces trial in death of grandparents

JONESBORO - A teenager went to trial Monday on charges she was an accomplice in the killing of her grandparents. <br> <br> Deandrea Carter was 15 when her grandparents were murdered. They were John and Fannie Mae Tubner. <br> <br> They were brutally beaten inside their Ellenwood home in 2000. <br> <br> Richard Sealey has already been sentenced to death for the killings. <br> <br> Two others are expected to testify against carter as part of an agreement with prosecutors. <br> <br> A witness testified that Sealey killed the couple with an ax that Carter brought to him after they failed to find the money in their attempted robbery.
